North Philadelphia Financial Partnership (NPFP) is located at the gateway to North Philadelphia. With other initiatives such as; Avenue of the Arts North and the Girard Coalition, there is in place the necessary momentum for the development and financing businesses in North Philadelphia.

Expansion

North Philadelphia Financial Partnership has determined that to grow and progress, it must expand its trade area. Also, the organization is responding to the proven need for its
services in the federally designated Renewal Community. The Renewal Community is a federal tax incentive program
available to qualified business owners, developers and investors. The program includes an accelerated depreciation of cost of building improvements and new construction, employment credits, increased Section 179 deductions and a zero percent capital gains rate.

The Empowerment Zone meets the Renewal Community in North Philadelphia. The expanded trade area will cover: South - Spring Garden; North-Roosevelt Boulevard; West - 33rd Street and East-6th Street.
